Adisseo has recently started participating in the decarbonization project in the Saint-Clair Industrial Base, located on the banks of the Rhône River in France. This initiative has received recognition and support from the Metropolis of Lyon and the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME).

The project aims to accelerate carbon reduction efforts in Lyon Chemical Valley, a cluster of chemical enterprises in the southern part of the Metropolis of Lyon. The region currently accounts for 25 percent of Lyon's total greenhouse gas emissions. According to sustainable development goals, the area aims to achieve an 80 percent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by 2050, equivalent to an annual reduction of 1.6 million tons.

Adisseo will participate in carbon capture, utilization, and storage projects as part of the decarbonization plan. The initial phase will involve assessing carbon dioxide emissions from voluntary industrial entities in Lyon Chemical Valley. The collected data will be analyzed, and cross-industry collaboration and discussions will be conducted in such aspects as carbon dioxide transportation, storage, and potential utilization. The aim is to identify areas of cooperation that will benefit all industries involved and collectively achieve high-quality development.
